Does llms.txt guarantee my site gets cited by AI engines?+
No. There is no confirmed evidence that any major AI engine currently reads or prioritizes llms.txt. It costs little to add and may help as adoption grows, but it is not a substitute for content that is actually citable: clear entities, direct answers, and solid technical SEO.
Where do I put the generated file?+
Save it as llms.txt and place it in the root of your site, so it is reachable at yoursite.com/llms.txt, the same way robots.txt and sitemap.xml work.
